Countdown

It's almost over, and I survived the year. The kids are simply awful, and we are taking them on a field trip Tuesday. Yes, I do believe we are insane. They don't listen at school so we're taking them to the big city? Right.
I'm looking forward to summer, and it will be busy. I have to take a bunch of courses for hours - the state requires 60 per year. I also hope to get my classroom organized so I can get out of school earlier next year. In my efforts to be greener and save money, I have to get in a car pool. Unfortunately, the car pool gets there at the last bell and leaves at the first bell, so I'm going to have to be very, very pulled together.
In other efforts at green living, I'm knitting away on string market bags, in hopes that I will eventually have enough to hit the store and go out with NO plastic at all. Today I saw a couple going out with their groceries in bags that said "Is your bag greener than mine?" If it's happening here in the boonies, it must be happening everywhere.
